Most life sciences marketing agencies position around execution: content, campaigns, websites. The larger shops chase big pharma budgets. The smaller boutiques compete on price for deliverables.
HTG occupies a different position entirely: the intersection of commercialization strategy and marketing execution for earlier-stage and mid-stage science companies. Every engagement starts with strategy. The marketing work is always downstream of the commercial objective—closing a funding round, launching into a new indication, building a sales pipeline, or earning credibility with a technical buyer audience.

Some of our clients have large, sophisticated internal marketing teams. They work with HTG because we can add specialized expertise, capacity, and execution speed where they need it: scientific conferences, market intelligence, product launch campaigns, KOL programs, technical content, sales enablement, and other high-value commercial programs.
When a strong internal team is in place, we work with it. We are not there to create unnecessary overlap or displace people who are doing good work. We take on the work that sits outside the team’s bandwidth or specialization, and we integrate closely enough that the work feels like it came from inside the company.
Other companies need something different. A small or changing team may ask us to take responsibility for several marketing functions, or to operate most of the function on its behalf. We can do that too.
The model follows the company: from specialized support for an established team to broader operating responsibility when leadership needs it.
04
We have established relationships with the diagnostics, medtech, and biotech trade press: 360Dx, FierceBiotech, GenomeWeb, MedTech Dive. We know the conferences where your buyers and investors gather. We know the investor community active in this space. We don’t understand your market from the outside. We’re connected to it.
05
Our account strategists are former research program PIs, scientific business development managers, and product launch specialists who have worked with venture capital firms, private foundations, and federal agencies. Our writers hold advanced degrees in the sciences. Our market intelligence team conducts the competitive analysis and buyer research that grounds every strategy. We don’t need you to explain what a lateral flow assay is, what a 510(k) submission means for your launch timeline, or why your Series A pitch has to land differently than your Series B. We already know. That’s time back in your day and depth you can’t hire for at most agencies.
